Isaiah Norris (6-0 170) of TL Hanna High School and Georgia Military Junior College becomes the first commitment for South Carolina under new head coach Shane Beamer. Norris had been previously committed to Middle Tennessee State and also had offers from Tennessee and Washington State. However, when Coach Beamer extended the offer and opportunity to Norris to play college football in his home state, that changed everything.
With his commitment, Norris will now join his Georgia Military teammate Marcellas Dial with the Gamecocks. Dial signed earlier in December while Norris is set to sign in February.
