The South Carolina Gamecocks picked up another commitment for the 2018 class when in-state offensive lineman Wyatt Campbell (6’6″ 282lbs/Lugoff-Elgin High School) announced his commitment to the Gamecocks via his twitter account.
Campbell received an offer from the Gamecocks last Friday when he attended a camp session at South Carolina. The Lugoff-Elgin High School product becomes the 8th overall commitment for the Gamecocks in their 2018 class, and the 3rd offensive lineman in that group.
Campbell committed to South Carolina over offers from other schools such as: Appalachian State, Arizona State, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Duke, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Louisville, Maryland, Middle Tennessee State, Missouri, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wofford.
Campbell plans to graduate early and enroll at South Carolina in January.
